Our Impact

Results

Insight serves thousands in the community each year through our care, education, and support programs. Each year we distribute a detailed annual survey to measure the effectiveness of the program and to determine where needs are and are not being met. The following results are from our FY16 demographics and annual survey.

Outcomes
  • 130 individuals were provided care in the adult day health center, a 43% increase from the past fiscal year
  • 88 free education programs were held
  • 46 support group meetings were held, both in daytime and evening
  • 40 Mind and Body workshop classes were held for 24 individuals
  • 121 Reconnections sessions were held for 37 individuals
  • 103 volunteers and interns provided 6,275 hours of service in the day center, a 33% increase from the past fiscal year
Day Center Measures
  • 100% were satisfied overall with the care and services their family member received
  • 100% agreed that their family member is safe while at the day center
  • 98% agreed that staff made a sincere effort to help their family member adjust
  • 95% agreed that activities are appropriate and therapeutic for their loved one
  • 98% find the individual Care Plans for their loved ones helpful and informative
Caregiver Support Measures
  • 93% feel more connected and supported since becoming involved with IMCC
  • 93% feel that their stress as a caregiver has been reduced
  • 95% believe they are more able to cope with caregiving since becoming involved with IMCC
  • 95% have more time to work and/or do other things I need or want to do since becoming involved with IMCC
