Join us at Insight Memory Care Center for a special viewing of the 2014 Sundance Award Winning film, "Alive Inside," featuring the Music & Memory program and its ability to combat memory loss and restore meaning to the lives of those with Alzheimer's disease! Event is held by Insight and George Mason University.

About the Film:
Filmmaker Michael Rossato-Bennett chronicles the astonishing experiences of individuals around the country who have been revitalized through the simple experience of listening to music. He reveals the uniquely human connection we find in music and how its healing power can triumph where prescription medication falls short. The documentary follows numerous visionaries in healthcare including social worker Dan Cohen, founder of the nonprofit organization Music & Memory, as he demonstrates music’s ability to combat memory loss and restore a deep sense of self to those suffering from it.
