Heather J. Mills
Heather J. Mills has spent majority of her 20-year career in consulting. Her expertise has evolved from creating technology application solutions to data analytics and currently she develops privacy programs in accordance with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and CCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act). Her career has allowed her to travel across the country, overseas to Ireland, Israel, Scotland, Switzerland and work in London for a year.
Originally from rural Pennsylvania, Heather graduated from Penn State and after graduation moved to Maryland. Heather is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and also a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
Like many in our community, she witnessed the impact of dementia on her family. Heather was a caregiver for her grandfather while he struggled with his memory and daily tasks. She sought a way to give back and is grateful to serve Insight as a Board member.
Heather lives with her partner in Winchester, VA. She is an anglophile enjoying British documentaries, period pieces, travelling throughout England and visiting old churches throughout Europe.
