  Mazawey Education and Support Center\, 3955 Pender Drive\, Suite 100\, Fa

 o the class.\n\nThis program is a part of our monthly Care Partner Trainin
 g series. All sessions are FREE\, and held the second Wednesday of each mo
 nth from 1:00 to 2:30 pm.\n\n<b>Presenter</b>\n<i> Dr. Robert W. Turner </
 i>\nDr. Robert W. Turner II is an Assistant Professor in the Department of
  Clinical Research and Leadership\, with a secondary appointment in the De
 partment of Neurology\, at the George Washington University School of Medi
 cine and Health Sciences. He is a health disparities researcher with ethno
 graphic and mixed methods training. His current National Institute on Agin
 g (NIA) funded K01 award examines psychosocial and neurocognitive risk and
  protective factors\, accelerated cognitive aging & mild traumatic brain i
 njury (MTBI) among former NCAA Division I and former NFL athletes. This li
 ne of research encompasses understanding how traumatic injury\, as an occu
 pational hazard\, hinders daily living and career planning over the life c
 ourse. These are many of the same concerns faced by military personnel ret
