unity to connect and stay engaged in the community\, in a safe and support
ive way. Outings are designed for both the diagnosed individual and a care
partner or friend to participate together\, and meet new friends in the p
rocess!\n\nMorven Park is a 1\,000 acre historic estate located at Leesbur
g\, Virginia. Known as the “Central Park” of Loudoun County\, Morven Park
offers exquisite scenery\, formal boxwood gardens\, the Morven Park Intern
ational Equestrian Center\, the iconic Greek Revival mansion\, museums\, a
nd hiking trails. We will be touring the Davis Mansion where we will hear
stories of the civic and social lives of former Virginia Governor Westmore
land Davis and his wife\, Marguerite\, during the first half of the 20th c
entury. Following the tour\, we will gather in the Vaughn Room of the Coac
h House Complex for some holiday refreshments and fellowship with each oth
er!\n\n\n*Please note - We will send additional info about finding the
correct building and parking the week before the meet-up. Visitors of all
ages should wear appropriate footwear and expect to encounter uneven or in
clined surfaces of various materials such as gravel\, grass\, brick\, asph
alt\, or sidewalk. Within the historic mansion museum\, there are stairs (
a flight of 12 steps with a landing to rest\, if needed\, followed by 8 mo
re steps) to the second floor. A similar staircase is encountered to desce
