X-WR-CALDESC:Today in the United States\, there are no medications approved
for the treatment of dementia with Lewy bodies (DLB) and only a single dr
ug approved for Parkinson's disease dementia (PDD\; the other major form o
f Lewy body dementia [LBD])\, and that is only approved to treat hallucina
tions and delusions. That is changing. In fact\, within the last 6 months
alone\, researchers have reported promising results from three different P
hase 2 clinical trials in people with LBD. In this presentation\, you will
learn the results of these trials\, hear about scientific breakthroughs t
hat are speeding progress in LBD trials\, and learn where to find out more
if you or someone you know may be interested in volunteering for ongoing
or future research studies.\n\n<b>Zoom link provided upon registration.</b
