 ator along many dimensions in the field of dementia. He’s been directing p
 atient care and family support at the Alzheimer’s Association over 30 year
 s\, and now serves as vice president of clinical programs at the MA/NH Cha
 pter. He developed the “Habilitation Therapy” approach to dementia which f
 ocuses on the patient’s emotions and their remaining capacities. He starte
 d the first support group in the US for early-stage patients\, and the fir
 st support group for young children with parents or grandparents who have 
 Alzheimer’s. Many of his projects have become best-practice models and hav
 e been replicated nationally. \n\n<strong>Dinner is provided!</strong>\nTh
 ere will be a complimentary dinner served at 6:00 pm\, and the program wil
 l start promptly at 6:30.
