populations as social worker and enjoys aiding in the facilitation of grow
th despite one’s life circumstances. In addition\, Markita is trained as a
certified dementia support group facilitator and has empowered individual
s in support groups for over nine years. Providing quality care to individ
uals diagnosed with dementia and their caregivers is her top priority\; Ma
rkita strives to support and educate the community in efforts to help fami
lies and their loved ones retain a sense of self and purpose throughout th
