I volunteer to serve as a board member at IMCC because IMCC offers valuable services to participants, their families, and the community. Cognitive, social, and physical stimulation are key to well-being, especially in the context of dementia. IMCC is about helping people to live at their best through engagement and connection and in doing so, brings hope for a brighter future to its participants. As a clinician, I’m honored to serve on the board because of the opportunity to lend clinical expertise aimed at promoting advancement of services critical to living well with dementia. With years of experience in dementia care and research, I’m hard pressed to think of anything worthier of my time.
