2025 Legacy Breakfast

Lin Simon, Insight's founder, addressed Legacy Breakfast attendees on May 7th.

Leaving a Legacy

Insight's Annual Benefit Breakfast

Over 150 guests joined us on the morning of May 7 for our annual Legacy Breakfast at the Westwood Country Club in Vienna. Everyone couldn’t help but be moved by these words from Don, one of our Reconnections program participants. While addressing the room, Don shared his story of living with Alzheimer’s and the positive impact Insight’s people and programs have had on him and his wife, Cathy.

“Through Reconnections, I’ve made real friendships – people I can laugh with, learn from, and walk this journey beside. I’ve been challenged to grow, even now, and I’ve found a kind of connection that’s impossible to forget.”  - Don Z., Reconnections participant

Our founder, Lin Simon, also shared Insight’s vision for the future and how far we’ve come over our last 40 years of care. For those new in attendance, it was a wonderful introduction to our work caring for families living with dementia in our community.

Thanks to stories from Don and other Insight families whose lives have been impacted by memory loss, a record-breaking $61,000 was raised to support Insight’s specialized programs and services. We are grateful to everyone who joined us that morning and affirmed their commitment to our work. Your generosity ensures that Insight upholds our legacy of care, support, and education for years to come.
