Dementia 101

Learn the basics of dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias. While not everyone travels the same path, come and learn about the general stages to help you anticipate future changes.

This program is a part of our ongoing Classes for Caregivers series. All sessions are FREE, and held the third Wednesday of each month from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. Respite care may be available by request; please notify us when registering to confirm availability.

Melanie Chadwick, RN, MS, NP, Georgetown Memory Disorders Program
Melanie Chadwick is certified as an Adult and Gerontological Nurse Practitioner and joined the Memory Disorders Program in 2014. Melanie specializes in evaluating and treating patients with memory problems, and functions as a clinician in the research program.
