Lewy Body Dementia and Current Research Studies

Tuesday, April 15, 2025
7:00 pm8:00 pm
Virtual! Zoom link provided upon registration.

Today in the United States, there are no medications approved for the treatment of dementia with Lewy bodies (DLB) and only a single drug approved for Parkinson's disease dementia (PDD; the other major form of Lewy body dementia [LBD]), and that is only approved to treat hallucinations and delusions. That is changing. In fact, within the last 6 months alone, researchers have reported promising results from three different Phase 2 clinical trials in people with LBD. In this presentation, you will learn the results of these trials, hear about scientific breakthroughs that are speeding progress in LBD trials, and learn where to find out more if you or someone you know may be interested in volunteering for ongoing or future research studies.
