Arvette Morgan Reid has worked as a Sales and Marketing professional for more than 20 years. She spent over fifteen years in the Senior Housing and Healthcare industry, where her tenure spanned the range of Independent Living, Assisted Living, Nursing Care, Dementia and Hospice Services. This spectrum of experiences now uniquely informs her current role as Marketing and Outreach Director with SEIA, a Forbes 100 wealth management firm, where she is working for the Thomas West practice and breaking new ground with the Lifecare Affordability Plan®, a pioneer service that bridges the gap between senior healthcare services and financial planning.
Prior to her years of working with seniors and their families, Arvette launched services worldwide as a Global Marketing Manager for the Oracle Corporation and other leading software companies. The transition from the technology world to the senior housing and healthcare world was rooted in a desire to return to the Washington, D.C. area, and to engage with senior adults, a passion established as a youth while visiting residents at Goodwin House in her hometown of Alexandria, Virginia.
Arvette’s deep commitment to civic engagement and local issues has long reinforced her success as a professional problem-solver and continues to enrich her diverse professional and personal networks.
Arvette holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Virginia and is a graduate of T.C. Williams HS. She has previously served on the boards of the Scholarship Fund of Alexandria and the Fairfax Women’s Soccer Association. Arvette currently serves on the boards of the Insight Memory Care Center in Fairfax and Senior Services of Alexandria, and is an active member of Jack and Jill of America, Inc.
Arvette lives in Burke with her husband and two children.
