“Gems: A Treasure Chest of Ideas”

This year's speakers include:
Teepa Snow, MS, OTR/L, FAOTA is one of America’s leading educators on dementia. Her philosophy is reflective of her education, work experience, available medical research, and first hand caregiving interactions.

Drew Falconer, MD is Board Certified in Neurology and a fellowship-trained Movement Disorders Specialist with the Inova Movement Disorders Program. He specializes in advanced care of patients with Parkinson’s disease, essential tremor, dystonia, Huntington’s disease, tic disorders and other movement disorders.

Sean Rogers, MD, PhD., specializes in the treatment of Parkinson’s disease, essential tremor, Huntington’s disease, tic disorders, dystonia, and other movement disorders, with specific training in deep brain stimulation (DBS) and botulinum toxin injections.

Margot Greenlee, Director, BodyWise Dance, and her team conduct dance programs with the Washington D.C. Veterans Administration Medical Center, the National Center for Creative Aging, MVLE, and numerous assisted living residences across the greater D.C. region.

Stacey Young received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the Uni-versity of Maryland Baltimore County and earned her Master’s Degree in Applied Sociology, Aging Studies from UMBC. She has spent her career serv-ing residents in nursing home, assisted living and retirement communities with a primary focus on lifestyle programming and dementia care.
