It's difficult for many families to talk about topics related to aging – e.g., help at home, driving, and financial management. Discussions with older family members and with siblings can trigger anxiety and turmoil. Learn easy-to-use tips for starting the conversation and keeping it going in a positive direction.

This program is a part of the The Fairfax Caregiver Seminar Consortium Fall 2016 Series, which offers seminars designed to help family caregivers of older adults or adults with a disability manage their day-to-day issues. Speakers include experts in law, care management, finances and community resources. The events take place at locations throughout the Fairfax area. Please join us for information, resources, and networking with other caregivers.

Speakers:
Jeannette Twomey, JD, Conflict Coach and Virginia-Certified Mediator, Mediate Virginia, LLC
Cheryl Beversdorf, RN, MA, Public Communication Specialist, CAB Communications

"I like the people, the programs, the support, the knowledge I gained as caregiver. That my wife flourished (and was improving, I thought) while she participated."
